Chandrakhani pass is one such trek, equally good for beginners as well as for experienced campaigners. The trek is a wholesome feeling that takes you through dense jungles of pine trees and variety of flora to naked green mountains. This challenging trip will ultimately place you in the peak of accomplishment surrounded by 360 degrees of Himalayan range including peaks of Indrasan, Deo Tibba, Pir Pinjal & Parbati Range. In the Valley of Gods, the land is abundant with herbs and jadibooti that’s got healing powers. The trek will test your limits and is for those who are adventurous & enjoy thrill being in the lap of the nature.

Gathering Point

Trekkers should report in Patlikul by 9am. A transport will be arranged for transfers from Patlikul to Rumsu. We start trekking from Rumsu.

  • Beginners in the world of trekking can apply. Although, one must have a basic fitness and stamina to complete the trek
  • The ones who like general hiking can scale their game through this Himalayan trek
  • Experienced trekkers would have a gala time in this adventure walk.

Itinerary

Day 1Rumsu to Naya Tapru (4kms Trek, 5-6 hrs

After breakfast we set off to the forest. As soon as the forests starts getting dense, you quickly realize several bird species and sunshine filtering through the trees in a forest trail. We reach Naya Tapru before evening and camp overnight. Its our first night in the forest, under a sky of millions of stars.

Day 2Naya Tapru to Chandrakhani Pass to Chaklani (9kms Trek, 8-9 hrs

This is the second day of our trek and it goes more rigorous as our trail gets difficult. Many areas are challenging to climb up and many have steep faces. We pant more today but the forest air keeps us fresh and energized. As we reaching our destination Chandrakhani Pass, you find yourself on a high headed mountain top serving a thrilling spectacle of the himalayan range. A walk on the vast meadows of Chandrakhani, the 360 view of valley of Gods in its strong winds will take the most of the day. Gazing the Sunset is a must at Chandrakhani. We slowly descend to our camp site at Chaklani. This is our last night of the trek and we just would want to live to the fullest in the magic nature spells on us.

Day 3Chaklani to Rumsu (9kms Trek, 4 hrs)

This is the last day of the trek. We can start our day a little late, wake up late or grasp time walking around the meadows and feel the best of nature in the midst of giant Himalayas. After breakfast, we start descending to Rumsu village and reach by afternoon. Drive back to Patlikul by early evening.
Trekkers may arrange their return post sunset, but have some extra time in hand like 2-3 hrs incase of any sudden delay.

Price Includes

  • Accommodation: All accommodation after arrival in are included. Room/tent is separate for male and female participant.
  • Meals: (Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner). We provide simple, nutritious Veg food on all days of the trek.
  • Camping charges: All trekking permits and forest camping charges are included.
  • Trekking equipment: High quality tents, matt and sleeping bags in all the camps. Sleeping bags can withstand temperatures as low as -10 ºC.
  • Expert Trek Leaders & Support Crew: All our trek leaders are well experienced. The mountain staff on this trek consists of certified guides, cooks, helpers and porters.

Price Excludes

  • Backpack offloading charges. If you wish to offload your backpack, there will be an additional charge of Rs. 500/day per bag.
  • Cost of Emergency
  • Water bottles and a headlamp or flashlight
  • Any personal expense.
